How could we choose to be truthful about some things if not about everything, it is not possible. Until we learn to accept this fact we have little chance of gaining ultimate beauty which leads to our gaining of ultimate joy.
We have to get totally naked in a sense of being totally trusting of all.
Through this vulnerability, truth can only occur as well as total bliss. Truth is a tool to help us in leading life, which is good as long as it has authenticity to be totally effective.
If effectiveness is what you hold dear, then the truth is a necessary allie.
Total truth is a wonderful attribute in all aspects of life.
We are actually in fear of being aware, that is why we are untruthful. Awareness scares us; to make it worse we have no knowledge of it. So we cover our fear with magnificent stories. Why are we so fearful we hide in the stories that are told and retold?
One possibility is our inborn fear of the unknown.
